I may or may not have purchased a small cnc machine recently to start making plates like these :)

Is that teflon tape?

I use Loctite 567 for anything that's going to have pressure or fluids behind it. (Nitrous, oil, brake, etc.) The only time I use Teflon tape is on my wife's gardening equipment.

Though I see that’s not what you’re struggling with since a flare fitting should seal without any sealant.

I had the same line lock. I found it to be unreliable. Pump it up and sometimes it would hold and sometimes it wouldn’t. Screwed up more than one burnout. I threw it way and not using one with the new setup. I’ve found at this level we have enough power to get the tires moving on the foot brake and shift into high gear within about two seconds. I let off the brake on the shift and let it do its burnout moving. No reason to sit there on the brake making clouds.

Weird, I had one of those LL in my 2009 Challenger M6 for years and never had a problem with it. Maybe I'm lucky. I put a custom LL button on the shift ball and text that said "hang on"

Red illuminated button in front of the shift bezel was the activation switch as a safety measure. Flip that on and it enabled the button on the shifter.

Can confirm Teflon paste is even worse than Teflon tape. Eventually leaks through the treads, every time. On chiller. Maybe I’ll try this out

Car slid off quick jack. Im kinda fucking done at this point. Im getting front brakes finished. Rolling it into the street and then dragging it to side of house where it will sit for a year.

Passenger wheel now sits at 2 o’clock instead of 12. Probably means suspension was damaged.

That’s horrible man, i feel for you with all the road blocks you’ve been running into. How did it slip off the quick jack? Have me worried about leaving my car up on mine

I will never leave the car suspended again. It comes down if Im leaving the house or done working. Have no clue as to why it failed, no leaks.

Was it backed up to the arm that’s supposed to lock it in that spot? Min always goes down a little, I only use it with it lowered on the arms because I don’t trust the lines

I've mentioned a couple times I'm kinda losing interest in racing as well, not sure why, just not motivated to load up all the stuff, drive an hour and a half, switch the tires over, make 3 or 4 passes, switch the car back over, drive 90 miles back home, and detail the car to clean it up. All while HOPING the track is decent or it's all of nothing spinning off the line.

It kinda became work. I haven't been in almost a year, maybe I forgot it's fun. Moparty is coming up in about a month but I don't wanna leave the 170 sitting out over night so I doubt I'll even take it. I looked in to renting an enclosed trailer and found a place that's $120 a day, but they require a 3/4 ton truck to pull it and Crew Chief Greg's is a 1500.
Thats exactly where I am at but 75 miles each way to the track. My 21 has 8000 miles on it and half of it is driving back and forth to the track to only get 4 runs in.
