Insider rumblings or pure guess?
I get absolutely nothing from the inside. Not even a hint. Any rumors or leaks I post are through my friends that supposedly have sources.

I just figured out same as @Speedy! that getting 900 HP should be cake. Then I realized that an almunimum Supercharged HEMI Production engine might be the issue. They do some crazy shit to these engines. Trust me......

They rebranded the 4 crate Hellcat engines to be called Hellephants
I wouldnt be surprised if the car is called that.

Racer X just “confirmed” in a video the 7th final edition has the 3.0 blower. It’s the lower one on the totem poll for direct connection hellephant engines.. flex fuel 900-1000hp. I’d say Boris is pretty accurate maybe minus the carbon wheels or perhaps that may be an option.. he claims the transmission is more like the viper so could it be a manual only option? Or perhaps just a heavier duty auto or more upgraded ZF to handle that if even possible?

Yup.

I figured they would be using that blower at some point when the crate engine was released and it had a bigger blower on it again.

Seems like Dodge likes to put a bigger supercharger on these engines when they make a significant bump in HP.

I also think the Demon suspension and transbrake etc come back for this final car as well.

In the post for today he claimed someone working at the plant he spoke to confirmed it in the pilot cars that are coming down the line As we speak. They also said the rumor of the electric supercharger isn’t true, it’s the 3.0 blower that will be used and is in the pilot vehicles.

I have never bought into the electric supercharger rumor. Not even one bit. They have never been used full time that I know of. They are only used to eliminate turbo lag. Supercharged HEMI has no hole in the power curve.

Dodge ordered a shitload of hybrid 8 speed transmissions

Maybe the electric supercharger was misunderstood and this car is getting the hybrid ZF trans.

If that is the case, I can really see Dodge not limiting the build of this car to just 500 or so.
Because that is huge R&D money. Unless that tech will be in the next gen ICE Challenger/Charger.

They have a lot of toys to play with.
I still think with the new NHRA rules they try and push for 9 flat or even an 8.90 time. That way, they can go off into the sunset as the fastest production car ever. Something the Demon held for a few months.

I was hoping for some Mad Max type blower
Give me a switch on the shifter that can engage and disengage the blower LOL.

That makes WAY more sense. That will get the 1.29 sixty foot and you can put the battery in the trunk to make the car hook better. I just hope they build a lot of them..........I also still think this is a stretch, because the car can get an1.29 without this. But CONSISTENT 1.29's would be easier withthe hybrid setup.........
