That will only add a minute to their time and does nothing to actually stop them from deleting snd making a key, starting it and driving away. Adding IGLA is a far better option and you can literally leave the tipm cover off and its still not starting/driving

I understand and think IGLA is the best of that kind of protection, but I did most of my mods prior to knowing about it..
I have the TSB done , my "kill switch" is much more than basic and I have many other theft discouragement things in place.
My garage, like "Demons", is well protected.
Being towed is the one I don't have covered.
Sadly, nothing is 100% sure.

Lesson learned..."once"...is too many...we NEVER take our cars to dinner...I wont park under a tree..or in a crowded lot..or dine @ a table where I cant see it...(probably why the mileage is so low on all of em)..

Yep, it's why I haven't raced the 170 more, I don't wanna leave it at the track over night. It's taking some of the enjoyment out of it to be honest.

even with all the security provisions I have taken....I often wonder if the bad guys have some way of tracking the locations of these cars...

Only if they add the tracker to it themselves. Even with you looking at your vehicle through a window, some can be taken in as little at 10 seconds. Only one state allows you to defend private property and most of those people taking it have firearms and obviously aren’t worried about jail time. A diesel ram for example can be started and driven away in about 10-15 seconds if that (no I won’t disclose how to for obvious reasons)

NY does not allow deadly force to protect personal property...but if armed...I can (and will) protect myself...
