Time to update this thread as I've been posting a bunch of stuff in a different thread I had going.

The car is back together and running on the new setup. Since we needed to replace all the harnesses, and I wanted the best of the best factory features that would be available on the car I ordered Demon 170 harnesses and threw those in. With that of course I had to do all new modules, BCM, PCM, etc, even down to door modules and wiring harnesses due to changes between 2015 and 2023. Using a wrecked Demon 170 VIN we programmed the PCM with a Demon 170 calibration, programmed the BCM and everything else to match, and put in a Demon 170 transmission so the car would have the correct TCM. There are a few things I still need to do like buy all new AC/Lines, Redeye/Demon AC Compressor, and the chiller to have functioning AC and Chiller system but we will get that done over the winter. The car now has all Demon 170 features, such as flex fuel capability, transbrake 2.0, user programmable launch profiles, etc. By all accounts it is a full Demon 170 swap.

The new 411 is running great, the car is being tuned by Z and he's killing it on the tune. I had the car out at the track last weekend and couldn't get the thing to hook for the first 330 feet but ended up going 9.42 at 151 MPH which while not representative of the cars capability I am extremely happy with for our initial shakedown trip.

Next up is to upgrade the fuel system since we ran out of pump trying to run full E85 at the track, I need to decide between sticking with a returnless system or move to a return style fuel system.

Wasn't sure if you were able to salvage anything that wasn't. My apologies, missed that line in your post.

Whether you could flash the OS to a Hellcat 8hp90 and have it work or not I’m not sure. We didn’t even try since my 90 was cooked anyways.

Cylinder bores were checked for roundness with a torque plate on right? Please don’t say “this is a brand new block”
This bit me in the ass big time. First racing longblock was out of round, rings would not seat.

I appreciate it! It's been a long process but feels good to have it finished.

Hahahaha, I absolutely hate the Hellcat valve covers. I'm planning on ordering Mantons over the winter, funds just didn't allow it at the time when the car was going back together.

The car will be getting some work over the winter, we mocked the cage up in the car but ended up not putting it in due to time constraints so that needs to get done. Then need to work on some other odds and ends, trans will have to get sent to Sipple, need to finish up all the AC lines etc, and I'm going to have to widebody the rear of the car. I know what everyone is going to say, and I'm not doing it because of the 170, I actually planned on doing it before that car was even revealed. I have no idea how some guys are putting 315/60/15s on the back of these things, even with beating the shit out of the inner fenders I still get a bit of rub, AND they're rubbing on the outer fender lip as well.

Since I had 0 chance at any traction when I took it to the track last weekend, going to a smaller tire isn't something I'm interested in doing. Part of the traction issue is probably that I need to swap out the adaptive suspension module so right now who knows what the shocks are even doing. Menscers are also a consideration, but I'd like to not continue throwing money at the car for at least a little bit.
