All Dodge would have to do is say they are looking at the continued production option due to demand and that would stop the whole dealer markup thing cold. For Dodge to continue to make the most incredible muscle car ever would be one big step that would make everything right. 🤗. FJB.

The initial list is 2,806 allocations. Dodge gave themselves some headroom there.
As for the plant, are they still moving forward with turning it into an EV plant or battery plant? Ford and GM are backing off on their spending.

What is stopping Dodge from making a 2024 Demon? I don't recall it ever being a limited edition, 1 year only deal. It was just assumed because the plant was being killed. But in the last 4-5 months the car world has flipped on its head and many auto makers are abandoning EV spending.

As for the CF wheels, Tim said they lose money on them at 11k option on the Demon. So I am not surprised at the 13k per wheel. They are not cheap and honestly, I wouldn't want them. But the collector world will punish anyone who doesn't get them (not like they actually race and would know).

Both plants will have the ability to run BEV & ICE
So when the BEV shit tanks they can keep rolling with ICE models

As of now Dodge is full steam ahead with the BEV Charger & the RAM BEV

Workers will get unemployment benefits, SUB & $200 ish a week over & above that
This was part of the agreement a few weeks back to avoid striking
At the end of the day their close to full pay for a regular work week

Tough for some
Others love it

I remember way back when either GM or Chrysler shut down that many of the workers did side jobs for extra money.

Many times I was cheap labor for house painting, etc kind of jobs.

Or they have side gigs that they will work full-time.

Its all good Mr

They can collect unemployment that they pay into weekly like most of us that work
They get CAW ( Canadian Auto Workers ) top up pay thru the union
Then
In their contract they get additional $$$ for every week they are off
Last I heard the additional $$ was $240.00 per week
I hear slightly different variations but at days end its a pretty good deal

Plus they got a 10K signing bonus 6 weeks ago

What would be a kick in the nuts is
In 20 months when the EV shits the bed they have nothing to back up full production & 3 shifts turns to 1

The money Ontario is investing in BEV is NUTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
