Question on Tazer

I have had my Tazer several yrs. and and have used it in 3 different car if mine always unmarry it every time and it's work with no problems but now for some reason it wont even show anything in the evic screen just like it dont recognize it's there. I have done everything to solve the problem no luck.So my question is can I buy a new Tazer will it work? I'm worried it wont because I cant unmarry the one I have.

Time to look into the more reliable AlfaOBD?

While it seems to have worked well for you until now, apparently Tazers can have all kinds of interesting and unexpected glitches.

For what I've experienced the customer support for Tazer is pretty good. They will give you a better answer than people here I'd expect.

yes sir your correct Ian has been trying to help me with it. But I have ask that question from them about buying a new would it still haven't answered that one. I even asked about sending to them and have it repaired. I think it's got something to do with the bcm.

I thought about buying another bcm and see if that would help. But if it didnt I'd be out of luck again and wasted money

yes I did and nothing happens but that was with the zpu cant in the car nothing shows up in evic screen

never tried the light show I actually bought when I had my scat pack for some of the feature's....but worked good till now. I used for the cool down mode at the track in both hellcats with no problems.

I check my dtc code with hp tuners this is what I got could this be problems with the BCM? And if so why cant you buy a bcm and they could program it with my car's vin#

No sir I took it out and I have to unhook my battery to keep it from dying. But when I plug the tazer in and go to audio screen hold the left button down and tap on the cancel button nothing happens. I have recovered the tazer many times and still nothing.It say at the top of the zpu screen on the pc that it's not married. But I cant understand why the evic srceen is blank

the first pic shows it's unmarried the second show no key I thought for the tazer to work you had to have a key to match the tazer.I'm not sure on that......thats the biggest problem I'm not sure of anything. Module Expert will take the bcm and check it out and if it's faulty they repair and use my Vin# to program the bcm

well a guy told me try it on my M6 hellcat which I dont know why I didnt think of that.....and the tazer work fine on the M6 popped up on the evic screen instantly. So it must be the bcm I did install triple pump about 2 week ago and ran the wire's where the star connector is at but was careful no to pull on any other wire's.
