Mine doesn't have the $2600 front axle lift option. I could take it or leave it, and a lot on the forums said they'd never even used it.

It does have front cameras that automatically turn on when parking etc, so unless something nuts happens I'm unlikely to curb it myself (knock on wood).
Yea, he got the 2LE, or whatever that option is, and added that option as his driveway is steep.

The 3LZ (in Z06) seems to be the most popular, but I can't for the life of me understand why. That trim comes with a carbon fiber and suede steering wheel, yuck, suede head liner and a-pillars, and special stitching. That's it as far as I know, and it's way more money. There's problems with the dash leather delaminating in the heat as well from what I read so I avoided that trim level. Mine's a 2LZ that gets all the touring goodies like heated cooled seats, cameras, etc. Seems like the one to get to me. 1LZ is stripped down and most that get that one make them basically race cars, makes no sense to me either for what they cost but to each their own.
