A 2.5” upper? I realize boost is a function of restriction, but DAMN! The stock pulley is a 3.75”. When I went down to 3.0” I was at 24#. I don’t remember where I saw the chart, but I thought Whipple didn’t recommend anything over 18k and that’s where I was with a 3.0”.

Maybe someone can confirm?

Been looking for that myself, cant find yet. But I thought it was 24,000 input speed max.
I’m at 23.6 peak psi on a 3.00 upper and +10 ATI lower. RE cam and 1 7/8” Shorty headers through new cats.

What fuel? My builder insists I run E98 at 24#. I’m considering heads, headers, and full exhaust to get my boost down so I can run E85 with the small pulley.

22.7-8 solid 23.6 peak in 2300 DA
RE cam and JBA 1 7/8” shorty headers through cats and stock exhaust. Estimating by 145 mph 1/4 times and 5.22 60-130 times probably around 1050-1150 wheel at the moment. Was supposed to dyno today but it’s raining here all day :(

I run simple old pump flex fuel, it’s 82% at the moment, I stocked up yesterday lol. As it’s cooling off and they’ll start to dilute it with gasoline soon and raise is price. I have 100 gallons on hand now. I only run 19 degrees of max timing

Interesting :( - the shop I'm working with to build my Durango informed me Whipple pulled the kits for the 5.7L hemi and they will not be available for at least another 60 days. Wondering now if this has something to do with it ?

How long does it take you to use that? How about staying fresh?

Who did your tune? I’m only running 15 degrees and I’m starting to think my tuner is starting to be overly conservative with insisting on e98.

@Jon-MooredPerformanceLLC is the man. He's tuned my dog of 2019 Redeye and retuned my HHP tuned 2015 Hellcat and they both are monsters on 93 and Boostane. I could not be happier.

I have E98R on hand (tests at 99.9%) and except for using gobs more of it (both in actual gallons and more so in injector and pump duty cycle requiring more out of both) really did not gain much over E85.

The man below, @jonx96

Couldn’t be happier, does a GREAT job at a unbeatable price.

I treat it with 1oz per 5 gallon of Lucas E85 stabilizer, fill the containers to the brine (as little air as possible) and store in a stabile 70F dark corner of the shop. Last for a year no problem. I’ll use pump fuel first until it goes below E78 (I test every fill, even tested between every fill of every 5 gallon pail yesterday, it’s easy with my Kent Moore Fuel analyzer.

I just bought e85 at the lowest price this year $2.79 In the spring it was down to $2.83 before every thing went to hell. Mine has tested within 2 points the whole year

I'm concerned with the high temperatures, humidity and the little bit I run the car. Local VP guy told me that a drum wouldn't last for me.
Just seems like a great alternative for what I do.

Thats why 5 gallon pails are great, you don’t have the air volume to worry about like in a 1/2 drum etc. But it you put a desiccant dryer on the inlet of the drum and never see wet air no issue. Even better get your self a very small cylinder of nitrogen plumbed with a regulator set to 5 psi and have a dedicated fill hose with pick up lead to the bottom of the barrel no pump needed, just put hose in car and fill via the pressure of the dry nitrogen. Add a little Lucas E85 treatment to the drum when first opened and it will last 2 years that way no problem.

23 degrees at 23 lbs boost on Ignite Red e90. 159 mph 1/4 mile at 4550 lbs. Estimated FWHP = 1480.

I believe in the kiss method. It's too easy to over complicate things.

Another consideration to add…. I’m assuming your tuner knows what your combination of engine internals are. Are you still running stock heads? Do you have the insanely expensive head studs to keep those in place. Timing is power and there are limitations to the various parts and pieces that make up your engine. A good tuner knows what you got and could be looking at your numbers and thinking you’re there.
