Oil Cooler Line Failure

Actually you don't need the tool. Just pull back the plastic clip retainers off and then with a small screw driver pull the wire c-clips out of the hose adapter nuts and simply pull the hose ends out. They are the same design as on the transmission lines.

Any idea where I can purchase replacement clips? Lost one of mine while replacing the lines.

Any auto parts store has em. Take 1 out of the other line and match up the size. Had to do that with my trans cooler lines on the cooler side

If you're replacing old lines, the new one's will have clips in them. They just push on, when installing. No need to remove the clips, or use a tool.
