Only way to go on these cars is an agreed value policy. Saved my bacon when mine got stolen. I had Grundy then and the claim went fine, I have Hagerty on the Demon 170 insured for about what I bought it for. I think it's $1500/yr.

Got dropped by insurance. Modified car violates current insurance companies underwriting. They said even wheels would cause it to be “modified”.

Who should I go with next? I honestly want this car gone. So here it is 40k to anyone on this forum. No hassle. You can get a 900+ hp car. Please help me get rid of it. Will also trade for a mint classic B body mopar.

Just put the kelltracs on it too so have fun!

My old regular insurance told me if I modified the car and didn't disclose that and was in an accident or something they wouldn't pay. I guess they'd still have to find out but I wasn't risking that.

Underwriting varies from company to company on performance cars...the company I had for years gave me a hard time with my 16 HC...because of the HP...my 18 Demon...same company wrote it no problem...go figure...

They came and inspected the theft damage.

Yeah I think you have to have their GPS device as well. Says does not cover race tracks. But you can buy track day insurance that will cover it from providers
