Is there any way to increase rpm’s on rev limiter ?? I have a2023 jailbreak Hellcat and when Im getting on it I’m hitting rev limiter before it shifts

This is pretty unusual. Are you racing it in (D) drive? Are you on the OEM tires? They could be slipping/spinning somewhat silently at the top of the gear and causing what feels like an early shift into the next gear and then you can feel a little bog in the next gear as you are a little lower in the RPMs and out of the sweet spot to build revs as fast for a second

Is your JB stock or has it been Tuned?

I'm not sure if you are tracking or having some fast fun on the streets with your JB?

One additional note, if you are in sport mode the highest the 1-2 shift will rev to is about 5k rpms. That is built into the factory tune in sport mode. Track mode will go all the way to redline on the 1-2 shift. Every other shift point in sport mode will go to redline.

@EricG Right, the settings are important, but could he paddle shift?

I don't know about the regular HC's, but I never heard anything like this in a RE.

1. Did you buy it new?
2. Has it been tuned? Modified in any way?
3. What exactly does it do and under what circumstances does it happen to make you conclude it is the rev limiter?

It could be he is feeling that 1-2 horrible bog/hesitation we all had until the PCM/TCM got programmed correctly by an aftermarket tuner.

@CrazyDave the one tune that I got from Jon that made the most difference?? Very first version getting the torque management and the TCM squared away before he turned up any power anywhere! You are about to really like your Redeye.

23s seem to have odd issues. If you bought the car used it may have been tuned and put back to stock but they didnt return the trans to stock and its looking for a higher RPM to shift at that never comes. My used 18 was like that. Jon Moored tuned my engine and trans, just a tune nothing else and it fixed the issue, and the car ran amazing. Makes my stock 23 feel like a Camry at times.
