FAMILY PLEASE HELP

Hey family im in a really bad way and in need of some serious guidance, im a disabled veteran and my car is my only escape. i have a 2019 charger hellcat it dont drive in any gears starts right up with no problem. When trying to drop it in any gear the gear blinks it says “put vehicle in park then desired gear” once i do that i drop it in gear, it repeats itself. Car starts just don’t drive so i towed it out to dodge and they said its from physical damage, only damage is the subframe it is slightly bent in however i took it to a transmission specialist where it currently is and was advised there is no physical damage. He send me a picture of black transmission fluid that was i. The transmission. Today i should be notified if its the solenoid or transmission, I dont mind paying for the solenoid jobbut i can it afford the transmission if theres anything you maybe able to do please advise. Ive been down for 2 months and really need help. If we anyone is connected wity dodge or can do anything to help please text me (Moderator edited out - PM instead) thanks guys

bought the car used I’m the second owner, im the only one who drive the car, when I noticed on the bill it needs a new transmission I said hey what about the warranty she replied with you need to get your insurance involved because of the physical damage. But again there is no physical damage to the transmission. I don’t want to say the warrenty was denied because i confirmed i have the manufacture which isnstill covered.

Was the car inspected before purchase? No trans damage? How long since.purchase?

Check to see if the neutral pull lock is engaged/disengaged by the gearshift.

Jersey City, grew up there. You should probably leave, it's a hell hole. However when did the car start exhibiting these issues, I feel as if we are missing part of the story here. Did you buy it with these issues or did it it develop over time?

1.) when was the car last driven without these issues
2.) sad to say previous owner probably beat the shit out of it if the fluid is black, it can be green but black... probably no bueno
3.) there are no mopar transmission specialists in NJ, period at all, closest is Pure on Long Island, which shop is it at. Bayonne, Weehawken, Union City? Or another shop (please don't say Borker in Bayonne, they fucking suck.)
4.) you mention this "bill" was it the bill of sale? was it a bill when the dealership inspected it? how did this physical damage occur?

This is a problem with Park Sense, not the transmission.

Your car believes it is in motion, as it is being put into gear. Maybe a defective ABS sensor (probably). I would scan the car, for faults (with a premium scanner, not on board diagnostics menu).

As far as if the car was inspected before purchase by another dealer ship no but I’ve definitely seen the vehicle myself the only damage known was the frunt subframe. The car i bought this past march just under 7 months.

I think a bent subframe might indicate some possible damage to other parts 🤷‍♂️

Who says there is no damage to the transmission? Dodge inspected it and said there was? Get photos and written statements from them in support of their damage determination. They will (generally) not just pull this kind of thing out of their ass. And just talking about it and saying "my friends buddy who owns a transmission shop says there is no damage" won't cut it in court if you're going to try and get warranty coverage enforced.

Extent of damage to the subframe? Scratches, missing paint? Huge gouges and bent frame? Dented frame?
