Forgestar 18X5 skinnies.

When they put the balancing weights on be sure they are not in the middle of the wheel if you have the big brakes.
At least on my car, I had to move them to the outer edge of the wheel.

Currently; Billet Specialties 18 X 5 front wheels with Hoosier 28 X 4.5 - 18s and OE Demon wheels with MT 305 18s ET Street Rs on the rear. Will be going to the Billet Specialties 17 X 10 wheel that matches the front skinny with MT 315/50/17s for the rears. The fronts with the Hoosiers only weigh 26.4 lbs. Added 4/1/20: Got the matching billet rears mounted with the MT 315/50/17s. Now hoping there will be a 2020 season at my track.

I have the same Hossiers for the fronts. What psi are you running in them? Mine were installed at 38 psi and when I let the car down on one during the test fit, it looked kinda flat.

I don’t know about hoosier but I run my front MT at 90 psi

Seems very common. I am going to clean the paint off the barrel mounting surfaces a with an aggressive roloc disc and knurl that area with a chisel (?) before mounting my drag radials.

BUT, I did take a look at the wheel and it appears the factory put a knurl on the wheel. Not sure if that is new or if it helps.

Wow! Ty for the heads up! I wonder when they made that running change. The last pair I bought was over a year ago for the Slomaro. Never really worried about tire slippage then since it doesn't make the type of power our H/Cs make.

Wild development. I just check the wheels I got late last year (and these were the newer widebody spec 17x11s) and they definitely didn't have it at the time; and there is no announcement on their website or FB about the change.

They do offer a "direct drill" option now, which may negate the need for a hub-centric ring kit.

That little bit of knurling is not enough to keep the tire from spinning on the rim. I had to take a dremel to mine and put a cross hatch pattern on the vertical surfaces, both sides. I also sprayed the rim with gasket tack spray before mounting the beads. It's held ever since, about four months now.
