They should have put Phantom Black Tri-coat Pearl on the Ghost car they just announced. At least then it would be a bit more different than the rest of the all black redeyes and more than decals.

My car is complete. The guys at this detail shop are awesome!! Can’t say enough how good they are. And their customer service is the best too.

(y)No improvement necessary!
Thanks man. Next spring I’m thinking pulley and dyno tune. Only 800 miles on my car so far. Should I put more miles on it before the pulley?

Are you going to take it to the track? I would get tires for it first and take it to T and T a few times. You will need to do a few other things to it if you change the pulley. You should talk to @jonx96 first.

Id like to at least get a tune first. With just a tune, we can gain anywhere from 60-80 rwhp. Stock tune sucks. And have the COT issue adjusted right too.

Love the black. Just so damn hard to keep clean
Ceramic coating makes it so much easier. Just like water will bead up on it.
I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about Griots ceramic products. Like their 3 in 1. Has ceramic in it.

All my vehicles are ceramic coated and the water doesn't bead up. It does however roll off in a sheet and leaves nearly no water beads behind. I also applied Diamon-Fusion all the glass, it works similar to RainX but lasts much longer. Dust might collect on the surface but when it does, the dust blows off when you start driving. WIN ! WIN ! for me

That should definitely help. The Cat is the first car I’ve had ceramic coated but this one isn’t black. Definitely makes it easy to maintain.

What coating did you go with, sheeting is actually better than beading when it comes to rain spot protection. I only knew of one US product that sheeted, that was Americana which isn't around anymore.

After watching several YouTube videos I’m definitely gonna ceramic coat it myself when it needs it. Hopefully in a couple years. Lol.
The paint correction and prep is the most important step first.
‘I’d start in a small area Obviously. Or practice on my ‘21 Chevy Malibu RS.
I only drive my Cat on nice days, never in the rain. It is a garage queen too.
‘I bought a new Ryobi pressure washer for $100, foam cannon, leaf blower, etc to do my own car washes.
I used to take my cars to a really nice touchless car wash. Even blow dries it too.

My PPF is coming unstuck on the front bumper (clear bra)in a couple curved, places. The guy at the shop in so many words said it’s no big deal. They’ll fix it. No problem. I have a 30 day warranty and it’s only been a week so far.

Glad to hear/see you got it all worked out and your ride's looking super clean, that would've driven me batty and I'm not sure I would've handled it as well as y'all did.

I hope you didn't fall for it. They would have CC it over all the scratches and imperfections without paint correction. Removing CC is a big PITA
