Has anyone changed out the hydraulic power steering from a 15-18 Hellcat to an EPAS system from a 2019+ car? I'm replacing all the harnesses in my car with new as they're all hacked up from the previous owner and have the opportunity to replace them all with Demon 170 harnesses and modules, (pcm, BCM, etc.)
It only hit me last night that if I did that the car would be looking for an EPAS system and probably throw errors. I'm just wondering what all is different between the hydraulic system and the epas system, wiring obviously but I'll have that and the modules will be set up to work with it, steering rack is obviously different, but is the column any different between the systems?
I could replace all my harnesses with brand new 2015 harnesses instead, in fact I already have them but I would obviously gain a ton of functionality with the D170 stuff and don't hate the idea of getting rid of the hydraulic power steering as I've already blown up 3 PS pumps at the drag strip.
