Going to guess Soria was a place, girlfriend or other code. T+1 and the 500# seems like notes at the factory obviously for some reason on the line for the engine batch or series of them. Pretty cool stuff. Too bad that one needed to go.

Replaced with… It was tense for a couple of weeks, while Dodge considered the cat (screw COT programming etc) failure, that caused the S/C failure, that then rained material into the system at WOT @about 150 mph, then locked its ass up, all on film.

Because you live so far in the sticks, they had to transfer it too many times. I bet it nearly got lost. Picked it up in Albuquerque? Ha, same difference. They knew YOU were coming.

So myself, what did I do with my Hellcat? I am actually driving the Queen a bit this year. Driving it among regular cars around here is priceless.

The damn exhaust system is nearly too quiet all fixed up during “normal” driving. Especially since the sucker normally just idles around in 8th. It does sound much different when it can however.

It went to Utah in normal fashion, and the transport didn't take long at all. The delay was from after it was built to when it finally got on a train. It spent time at every yard they had, some of them twice.

Fearing plenty of corrosion (it was winter) or that the time was spent repairing damage, we ordered a second one. And for a while it looked like the new order might beat the original order. It didn't, but it was fairly close.

I remember that now. You were not happy. Not too many trains were used from Brampton to Iowa where I took delivery of the 2015. It went to the yard in Omaha and the trucker picked it up in a day or two. It was late Friday the 13th when it arrived at the dealer. I was there on Saturday morning bright and early.

My 16 HC was pristine underneath...my 18 Demon...looked like they ran it through the salt flats for a month...I had it up on a lift for weeks detailing the underneath

do you still drive it around in the default mode most of the time?

Using sport mode keeps it out of 8th unless you are on the freeway.

By the time the replacement showed up there was barely any snow left even in the hills.

But it doesn't always work out that way. For a while we suspected that the Porsche might beat the first Challenger. It was ordered a bit later.

Yes. That is all we need on the street, right? I did aggressively pass some sort of a Kia the other day out here close to home. They honestly did believe they were driving some sort of a vehicle that in their mind anyway must have been quick.

Actually Jon has my Track Mode programmed to not do 7th or 8th unless I ask for it. That is because that straight at BIR and RA eat up most of 6th, if I’m not in manual, it could get strange.

Sport is rather nuts.

Old folks could have been riding around with me the last week, other than moving as fast as most, I was just being smooth, enjoying my repaired exhaust note, and IDK why but looking at the gas mileage and being amazed at my little economy-hybrid machine.

Had my mind on going back to a truck for a couple months now. Found one i fell in love with, a Ram 1500 4WD Laramie Limited. Blue pearl with Indigo frost 3 tone interior. I enjoyed the Cat for 10 months that's for sure. Got used to driving 700 HP on the street, and you know what happens then!
I did manage to stay out of trouble with it. No idea how, other than luck. Lot's of reasons i went back to a truck, My back, sitting in the AC and being able to see over the wall at the dragstrip, driving on the beach to go fishing, ect. ect. Thanks for putting up with me, hopefully i can still hang around. Meet some nice folks on here.
