Sound. Heard motor In a one off custom build [super expensive] and it's a hellcat power plant. Spoke to me instantly.

Same here. A couple of days ago, downtown Atlanta. Someone nailed one, I was talking in an Ober ride, and said/instantly, “oh there was a Hellcat”. Yep, big time, getting across an intersection quick, and with smoke! The sound was instantly recognizable.

The sound at wide open at close to 200MPH is even better. A couple of years ago I was on the 57 freeway at about 5 am doing 110 mph or so in the fast lane. Thought I was alone. Then I see headlights in the diamond lane coming up on me fast. Figuered I'm busted and didn't slow down. The car did not get behind me and no red lights.WTF It was a black Challenger that passed me like I was standing still. Wow. I can not describe the sound, but it was bad ass. He was close to 190 mph or better.
Wonder if it was one of our members.
