Just for the record, most German WW2 weapons used steel because of the shortage of copper needed to make brass. If the weapon is well maintained I do not believe it should have much problem with it as long as the cartridges are relatively well made (there's plenty of shit brass out there too). Because the biggest difference is the elasticity (for lack of better term) of the case and its ability to expand to form a good seal with the chamber and prevent blow back of propellant gases, if you use these rounds in a weapon that doesn't take steel case into consideration in design you tend to end up with more carbon and a dirty action. Or at least that's what I've seen.
Steel cased ammo does not usually work in revolvers that use ACP ammo requiring 1/2 moon clips.
Also, they are brutal on pistol extractors.
I have had to replace several.
But, I was also burning 4 to 500 rounds thru them every weekend.
Other than that, flawless in my AK.
My AR does jamb every once in awhile with them.
This was from using Wolf and Tula.
