Let's talk about how energy efficient these really are!

So after I drove around getting about 20 mpg (ok, there was absolutely no way to do much with a 500' DA on the street), I did it. I drove it into my garage shut the door and activated the Race Cool Down. It is a 3.5 car garage, it was about 58, after it ran for its five minutes or so, it was 62 in the garage! What other car has electric garage heaters included for no extra cost? What a wonderful machine.

What other energy saving or thrifty use of these hybrids (yes they burn gas and rubber, therefore we can claim it) can anyone else think of?

When around Mustangs, the Mustangs usually slow down and save gas (thus lowering the carbon footprint). All because of a Hellcat driving down the road?

I think we motivate more Greenies into buying more Priuses therefore increasing the average mpg for CAFE standards.

Lightweight Package option reduces washer fluid container size to eliminate less than a pound of weight thus increasing fuel economy therefore negating a smidgen of the right foot carbon footprint of the car.

Shit why? Why drive around with less than maybe a quarter of the power only to get what, 30 miles per gal? That saves about $20 for a 500 mile trip. This thing can produce 800hp, but still exceeds 20 mpg! And doubles as a garage heater, a rubber burner and many cause other cars to slow down as Hunter points out

YES THEY ARE, YOU ARE CORRECT. I am in the Hydropower business. We will be building one of the first large basically liquid battery projects in the USA very soon (Pumped Storage Hydro). That will be the ticket to expanding the solar power component, not batteries.

Also these "green" & PC people need to think about the LIFE COST and waste/storage of their batteries.
