335’s on stock WB wheels

Is anyone running 335/30 on the stock 11 inch WB wheels or is this to wide? I don’t really want to buy new wheels and I can get the older MPSS tires from
Discount tire in that 335 size. According to DT website they recommend a 11-12 inch wheel for that tire. I would do 335 rear and 305 fronts. If anyone has any pics I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Is there any side wall bulge at all? Are you able to put the power down pretty decent with 335’s? As soon as the state opens back up I think I’ll pull the trigger on the 335’s. Worst case scenario if they don’t fit right I’ll buy some new wheels and sell the devils rims. Been looking at these from one of the vendors here in 12x20 rear.

I believe a 335 would fit on a 11" rim ok. It won't bulge enough to be really noticeable but the MPSS are very square tires so you probably won't get the benefit of the full tread width on the outer shoulders. As for traction, my car makes just over 1K HP so traction is non-existent on a street tire. If your car is stock, you should gain some traction and I say that from experience on my wife's stock Hellcat Charger going from a 275 to a 315 on the rear made a world of difference. The being said, it looks great from behind with the extra rubber since these cars are already so wide. I'm probably going with a 345 Michelin PS4S on the rear when these MPSS wear out. It will likely be the same scenario you're asking about, a tire just slightly too wide for the rim size but it will fit safely. I just want to try a set of PS4S tires and they don't make them in a 335.

Probably a 315 but it may not make full use of all the tread at the outer edges.

Sorry, I should have provided the whole tire size spec. 315/35/20 is pretty common for the Chargers on the rear with a small 3mm spacer. For the Challenger, it will rub without a spacer as well but I believe it will poke a little outside the fenders unless its a Nitto DR since those tend to run a little narrow.

315 should fit pretty well with a spacer and the flares. You always have the option to run a wider tire later with a wider wheel. When I originally installed the flares, I had a 305 on the rear which looked a little narrow with the rear flares installed since there was another 30-40mm of width with the flares. I used a 6mm spacer for a little while on the rear just to make it look a little better but ended up going with aftermarket wheels to get the full width I wanted. A 315 with a 3mm, 5mm or 6mm spacer should look pretty good though.

These are a little taller than stock but shouldn’t be a problem. They have to be much better than the stock all season crap. Any input on this set up would be appreciated.

After much debate and searching I believe the 335’s will be to wide for the stock 11 inch wheels so I ordered the Continental Extreme contact sports in 315/35/20 square. These are a little taller than stock but shouldn’t be a problem. They have to be much better than the stock all season crap. Any input on this set up would be appreciated.

I hope so. Don’t track the car at all but really looking for that 40 mph hook up especially if I add some power down the road.

I have a 2018 WB so no Redeye for me but I love the tire set up. Way more grip than the crappy no season tires but obviously from a dig you can still blow them up. No issues at all and I would definitely do it again.
