It will be October in a couple of days and they are forecasting 90 degrees in the Twin Cities which is about 25 degrees above the “average” for that. Ha, should be beautiful in PA for November at this rate.

It could be 90 on 11/9 and come 11/10 when I leave we'd get 8" of dumb white stuff. My luck in a nutshell.

Funny this notification popped up...I actually DID go and successfully complete Southeast Street-N-Yeet 2025!

Needing to stay above a 6.50 average was a bit of a handicap...but points matter towards the Summit Racing Drag & Drive World Championship 10.0+ class...which I didn't even realize was mathematically possible to place in when I committed to Street-N-Yeet.

We went 6.535 for the week. Had I known earlier it was JUST THE AVERAGE that mattered and not every single run...it would've saved me an entire day of hassle at Greer on day 2...where the car went 6.44 right off the rip launching at 1300. Then we let off and went 6 47! Tapped the brakes to a 6.617 which we turned in...plus 2 more garbage runs (Track left pretty quick after my 3rd pass).

Went 6.5519 at shadyside, 6.617 at Greer...and a 6.408 at House of Hook on a year best 1.47 60ft. Came back to shadyside and clipped a 6.5623 to lock it in.

Day 0 was a literal dumpsterfire. We Don't talk about day 0. Went to swap pulley over and dropped the spacer for the idler. It landed in the plastic over the crash bar. Had to pull the front end off to retrieve it after a couple hours of searching and yanking belly pans off the car. It was 30* when we got there and maybe 45 for the high. We had fires going in the staging lanes for the taco/margarita kick off party. Lol

If there were one event I'm looking forward to fighting to get into more than Sick 66 it'd be Street-N-Yeet by a mile. Devin, Laura and crew do an amazing job. So laid back. TACOS AND MARGS. no predefined routes. A lot of track camping. Food everyday.

I'm a top 100 entry into Sick Summer, plan to try for Drag Week to defend my Quickest SME title and push that average down (currently 6th ALL TIME) and Definitely doing Street-N-Yeet again. I was gonna go for Michigan Miles (only event all year that falls on my days off) but slept thru the early reg (I'm on nights til February) and my ultimate goal is Sick 66. If we don't get an entry into Sick 66 I might yank strings and do Buckeye Skips again but rumor has it they're moving it up into July to tie into Kuhnle's holiday race which means losing out on a good chunk of holiday pay. We'll see.

Currently waiting for the final results to get sorted & sent to Narx & White at DragDriveRepeat so they can tabulate final points for the Championship. As of last update the current 10.0 leader had 81 or 83 points and this finish should give me 86 on the year. If no one else improved their standing I MIGHT be making an appearance at PRI...
